EXCLUSIVE / PRE-VIEW // F/W 2013/2014 / AREA DI BARBARA BOLOGNA / "ATELOPHOBIA"

I am so happy to present you an exclusive preview of Barbara´s upcoming last collection, that will be presented in Paris from 28th of February to 5th of March (for more information see the photo below);

She describs her last collection with these words: "I saw a woman eating another being, in the most total perfection.
ATELOPHOBIA 's aversion to imperfection. I find it fascinating how a phobia can become a narcissism toward something, and bring perfection to cannibalism, act completely rude and imperfect, has forced me to see more deeply, trying to figure out where it might be this connection. I saw exactly where this connection is alive, it lies in uniting seemingly opposite elements thus creating a "personal" perfection. Creating a medicine for phobia."

If that is only a small preview, well we can not wait to see the rest soon...very soon.

PRE-VIEW / TOM FORD NEXT FOR H&M

Just days after there was news that Lanvin is going to hit the H&M collection, there is also news that another French-themed install is going to come out through the retail chain. This is going to a limited-edition collection from Tom Ford. It is the same edition that appeared in the December-January issue of French Vogue.

The issue was guest edited by Tom Ford. He arrived and started to drive back into the women's wear. He came after the French Vogue's editor in chief Carine Roitfeld invited Ford.

The whole issue was a collection of art which was the theme and the driving force for the issue.

Talking about the same, Roitfeld said to the papers, "I always say, 'Tom has an eye like a scanner,'?" Besides this, Ford has also decided that he would be coming on the cover of the lifestyle magazine with a 15-year old model.

The name of the model is Daphne Groeneveld and appears in the front centre of the page with her glossy eyes closed.

And while the magazine shows the design, it is for H&M that these will become accessible to youth.

Richard Nicoll for Topshop Spring 2010 collection

We can't get enough of this year's Topshop designer collaborations. And Richard Nicoll's latest line for the retailer definitely goes straight on our wish list for Spring 2010. Marking his fifth range for Topshop, Nicoll's collection is awash in nude and pastel shades in '50s-inspired styles.

"It's for a girl's girl with a rebellious spirit who paints her bedroom a hot, not pretty, shade of pink," explained Nicholl. His new eight-piece range hits stores on 13th February, with prices starting at £32.
