World famous Peruvian photographer, Mario Testino, is releasing a new book dedicated to men; actually he resembled all his photographs of men through these years, including David Bowie, Brad Pitt, Josh Hartnett, Mick Jagger, Jude Law, Keith Richards, David Beckham and Colin Firth.

The new collector item, published by Taschen, is titled “Sir” and contains in total 300, very Testino, man-only photos.

These last two days are more than nice...the wind calmed down and the sun is doing properly his job. This is a perfect weather to calm down and relax or to do outdoor sports. I took advantage of this serene day (you never know how much it will last) and took a walk to the beach, leaving the sun caressing me.

Sea + sun = navy me :)

FASHION NEWS // TOPSHOP UNIQUE WILL START WITH PRE-COLLECTIONS / FIRST LOOK

Topshop Unique will launch its first pre-fall and resort collections this year.

"As Unique goes from strength to strength, it's now in its 24th season, it felt like the right time to start to offer pre-fall and resort collections, particularly as Topshop expands internationally," said Emma Widen, Topshop's fashion director.

"The pre-fall collection took inspiration from the spring/summer 2013 Unique collection in that it has a similar grown-up, pared-back and simple aesthetic."
The initial offering features a selection of 21 eveningwear separates and accessories, including georgette silk dresses; tailored jackets with chiffon panels; high-waisted trousers with silk overlays; sheer boxy blouses and oversized leather clutches - in a colour palette of nude and black with bursts of canary yellow and fuchsia.

The collection will go on sale in selected stores internationally, with the first resort collection planned for November 2013. Both will continue to launch bi-annually going forward.
"The range is built on simple tailored separates in beautiful silks and broderies, giving customers the choice to either dress up or dress down individual pieces," explained Widen. "For example, we imagine the customer wanting to wear the fuchsia pink wide leg trouser with a simple jersey tee, or the textured black stripe skirt with a grey marl vest. This is how the Topshop girls wants to wear these pieces, they want them to work for day as well as evening."

"This collection was more about youth cultural groups," said Anderson. "The girl has evolved. It's about carrying over the idea of iconic pieces that can be worn over and over and re-working staple looks from the JW Anderson wardrobe."

The collection arrives in stores on February 15.

FASHION NEWS // JW ANDERSON FOR TOPSHOP

After it was annnounced that MMM is doing a collection for H&M, now the news is out that JW ANDERSON is creating his debut collection for Topshop, launching in September. The range will include clothing - from jersey and denim items to knitwear and outwear - as well as homeware, featuring pencils, memory sticks, Rubik's cubes, vintage magazines and photography books.

"I am very excited to collaborate with Topshop," said Anderson. "It gives me the opportunity to reach a much wider audience with my designs. It has always been very important to me that my collections are made accessible to anyone interested in fashion and design."

Although Irish-born Anderson has worked with Topshop before (he created a T-shirt to celebrate its 10^th year sponsorship of the British Fashion Council's NEWGEN scheme in February), this is his first ready-to-wear high street collection. A second offering will land in stores in early 2013.

"The launch with JW Anderson is a new and exciting approach for Topshop to our collaborations," said Topshop creative director Kate Phelan. "The capsule collection is a best of all his design ideas to date, a sort of must have wardrobe of covetable pieces by this unique designer. The interesting twist however is the cool collectable items that will make up the rest of this collection, which JW Anderson has picked himself."
