NEW TRACKSUIT

Comfort is way the first thing I got always in mind when buying new clothes and shoes. This season many designers accentuated this in their collections; major merit goes to knits, mostly oversized or over-length, sometimes tailored as this "track suit"; actually is composed by trapeze-like knit ribbed pants and over-length, slim with cutted sides ribbed long-sleeve top. This look hysterically-fast become a trend after we saw it at the F/W 2014/2015 Marc Jacob´s collection (and then the similar-look-a-like pants at Céline). In a blink of an eye Zara made this trend accessible (as usual) to all of you with very reasonable price; the top and trousers costs at Zara less than 5% of the amount you will pay for the original one by Marc Jacobs. Do I need to explain why that price different? I guess not. (even I do not think that the best-ever cashmere would cost that much, but ok...).

Do you like the look?...will you optate for Zara`s version (top + pants) or Marc Jacobs one (top + pants).

LIGHT COAT

Short or long, oversize or tailored, sporty or elegant, thin or thicker, belted or buttoned (or both!)...these are the options and also dilemmas when choosing the right one...THE COAT. The looking-finding-picking situation come almost twice a year; a classic, woolly (and many times "heavy") for winter time, and the lighter, cooler, a day-to night piece for a warming, so-called mid-season; spring and fall. The light coat is the best option during moody-weather...feel cold, wear it...it´s too hot, take it off and carry it with you (it would be difficult with the woolly one ;) )...do I need it during summer time? Sure, why not? Bad weather happens during the whole year, summer included. Plus many, many summer nights are breezy-bit freezy ;)
I am in the middle of that dilemma (need to make something clear here…it´s not a big deal, real problems are others…but fashion, is fashion ;) )in this period. What to choose? A thick cotton one (for now has a major chance) mixed also with some linen or light viscose-silky one? For sure a trench coat; useable for many occasions and styles. Probably I will try to not buy it this time in black or navy (is it possible for me?), but to choose one in a bright colour. Where it all came from? Hmm, I have already one in my mind. :)

The Spanish street fashion stroked again! After their successful F/W 2013/2014 ad campaign, Zara is continuing with the modern, clean look, this time with the big help of Nicolas Ghesquiere's most talented assistant - French stylist Marie Amelie Sauvé, featuring fresh faces, like Amanda Murphy, Kirstin Kragh Liljegren, Joséphine Le Tutour, Ashleigh Good, and Mila "Mijo" Mihaljcic under the lens of one and only Patrick Demarchelier.

The freshness of the campaign gives you a super-want to be as soon as possible spring, sun and slides!

COGNAC COAT

WEARING
ZARA coat (similar here, here and here)
HELMUT LANG leather jacket (similar here, here and here)
COS skinny jeans (smiliar herehere and here
DIOR HOMME ankle boots

A debut "Outfit" post for the 2014...in my black-s with a touch of cognac; nooo, no drink here, neither drank I was (not really a big fan of anything alcoholic...maybe a glass of good wine time to time) ;) It´s the color of my Zara´s coat. The best color to be combined with blacks and whites; it gives you a bit joy to darker colors and it calms down the brightness of the white. A classic one.

Yesterday the fashion caravan started with menswear collections in London. Some reports will come in next few posts. The new year barely started, I already feel all thrills and excitements of what will come.

BLACK URBAN

WEARING
PETJA ZOREC bomber jacket (similar here, here, herehere and here)
ASOS cotton sweatshirt (similar here and here)
SILENT BY DAMID DOMA long-sleeve t-shirt (similar here and here)
WEEKDAY trousers / shorts (similar here and here)
DIORALOP backpack (similar here and here)
WEEKDAY leather pants (similar here and here)
ZARA sneakers (similar herehere and here)

The last few days are really fantastic. The weather outside makes you a false feeling that we are not yet in the cold-zone period, due the heat power of the sun and his rays. It´s more like in the beginning of the spring and I am not complaining about it, at all! :) Things that never change for me is my passion for black...taaa daaaa, not a big surprise, right? ;) This one is more-like an urban version of me, walking around and re-playing (singing) this track in my mind. Did you recognize my new bomber jacket, the Zorec bomber jacket? It´s super cozy-cool...Love it!

DAILY BRIGHT

Why should be the white color wearable only during warmer season, like spring or only during summer time? I Love it a lot also for winter! Not a head to toe white version, but matching it with a nice, cozy coat, shoes and some accessories in a different color, like navy blue, black or light gray as I proposed here, just to calm down a little all the luminosity “provoked” by the white color.

And don´t look at me as I am crazy, but I love thise Marants´slides...sooo summer craving! :)

FIGHT THE COLD

WEARING
ORGANIC BY JOHN PATRICK slouchy knit pullover
RAG&BONE pea coat (similar here, here, here, here and here)
COS skinny jeans (smiliar here, here and here
ZARA sneakers (similar here, here and here)
CK rings (similar here and here)

Fresh from the haircut and enjoying the sun, less the Bora (a dry, cold and bold wind). Typical garments to fight the cold of  these days are a cozy knit, a coat (a pea coat is even more comfortable in terms of moving around, driving around with a car, etc.) and warm pair of sneakers (with wooly socks, do not forget that!) to obtain a comfort zone on maximum levels.

ZARA WOMEN F/W 2013/2014 CAMPAIGN

Zara is the fast fashion brand that works as the perfect visual machine. What i mean with that? Well, every season´s trend is available in Zara. So if you do not know or follow trends, just visit one of Zara shops and take a tour. The only bad thing of the whole story is their (yet known) lack of quality, season by season more. So for me Zara is became a bit overpriced for the quality you get. But the point of this post is not this...but about their last cool, (finally) a bit more fresh and 3.1 Phillip Lim inspired, campaign. Photographed by Patrcik Demarchelier and starring Caroline Brasch Nielsen, Ashleigh Good, Julia Nobis, Juliane Gruner and Mijo Mihaljcic.
