Talking about the past, if a post-ago was Madonna´s 1983 is now time to take a look ten years later, to the year 1993. A time when an only 19 y/o Kate Moss was featured on ultra-famous images made by David Sims for Calvin Klein´s underwear campaign. These pictures are now released, actually correctly to say printed on white or black T-shirts as an exclusive collaboration between Calvin Klein and Opening Ceremony. Great, right? And what´s even greater is that they are a part as an initiative to support amfAR, the American Foundation for AIDS Research. So, click and shop!

vaccarello´s debut collection for VERSUS VERSACE

We did say it many times and nothing has changed; actually fashion in its schedule-calendar things is getting crazier and crazier. Summer didn´t officially started yet, while many fashion houses are into their pre-fall 2016 season already. We are also one, max two steps away before the S/S2016 menswear´s collections will start. To get even more confused with all seasons and everything (the best way to know in which season are we now, is to look your weather situation) “helped us” Versace. Few days ago the Italian fashion house showcased in London the F/W 2015/2016 collection for Versus Versace; the debut one by Anthony Vaccarello. In total 17 looks, three among them for men, full of Versace dna (and super-pleased that there are no logos and fluos). You can take a look and even buy already the pieces from the collection on their main site.

Holiday is really close and the mind is already in those sparkly-glittery days. But can we remain on minimum ground, without losing a festive note? Sure! The option (and a gift tip) comes straight from a new collaboration. The already well known accessories label, Mansur Gavriel, launched in 2012 by friends Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel, teamed up with Opening Ceremony on creating an exclusive new shade; a silver Saffiano leather, used in brands all three versatile bags styles – a tote, a bucket bag and a backpack. This is the first time that a brand marks into a metallic territory.

OPENING CEREMONY PRE-FALL 2014

When streetwear meets modern tailoring and lady shapes for Opening Ceremony pre-fall 2014 collection. The range of pieces like teddy boy trousers with peacoats at the beginning, to continuing with mini dresses as a modernized-vintage vibe of the 60`s. Some pieces have that something, that we could define as a must have in the last period (a boom made with the S/S 2014 collections); what is it? Naturally an art reinterpretation on the fabric, clothes; an obsession with modernist art, here presented as a paint smudges made with a digital print and containing all colors that are present in the collection: neon orange, white and black, red, beige and blue. To get you more a fall feeling, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon add some furry elements (a bit of Fendi F/W 2013/2014, don´t you think?). From what I saw until now, this is (for now) my favorite pre-fall 2014 collection (if I would feed me only with fashion, now I would starve).
