A FOUND BEAUTY

    ©Lauralai Wilson Wolf

Two silver arcs, barely touching. From their meeting point, a shard of clarity descends, neither ornament nor excess, but presence distilled. Discovered on the page of jewellery artist Lauralai Wilson, these earrings suspend time in their making. Unlabeled, but unmistakable: likely silver and quartz, materials chosen not for opulence, but for their resonance. A fragment of light. A trace of intention. A beauty not declared, only held.

TOBACCO POUCH

This Japanese tobacco pouch, crafted between 1850 and 1880 during the late Edo or early Meiji period, exemplifies the refined artistry of its time. Made of lacquer, the pouch measures 6½ inches (16.5 cm) in height, 3⅛ inches (7.9 cm) in width, and 2½ inches (6.4 cm) in depth.

Such pouches were commonly carried by men, suspended from the obi (sash) of a kimono, and often accompanied by a pipe and a netsuke (a carved toggle). They served both practical purposes and as expressions of personal style.

After fourteen years, a brand known for oversized and elegant silhouettes has launched its first-ever bag collection.

The biggest one is Doublet, a slouchy, roomy tote easily slung over the shoulder and constructed by a few seams. The slightly smaller one is Shiboru, which in Japanese means "to squeeze", and has a more angular take on the tote and has an adjustable strap, while the smallest of the three, Fortuna is a rounded, structured cross-body bag with an adjustable strap.

CÉLINE FALL 2015 JEWELLERY

It´s always the same story and in Céline´s example not in a bad way. Defenitely oposite. What? A constant ability to make pieces, like jewelry, that are (yes) special, bold and statement, but still enough calm and balanced to (awlays) win the battle of time or to be more specific, to win the battle with the so-called "expiry date", which in fashion is really short. We can all agree that these pieces from the fall 2015 collection will become timeless ones. Actually somehow they already are. If it come to heart brooches in copper, devoured splitted earrings and necklace, barbelé bracelet, mousqueton double bracelet or the plate necklace and brooch. Which is your favourite one or may I ask - which will be your next one?

CURVED CLUTCH

The size 25x27x13 cm is just perfect. The shape is ergonomic, simple and unusual at the same time. What more to wish? Definitely is one of my favorites, if not a favorite wish-for bag of the S/S2015 season. The only thing, that bothers me "a little", is a price tag. (psss...1.150 Eur).

5 classics with a synonym of timeless in gold version. Guys, the time when only rappers invested in gold and real watches is over. Do not be ashamed for some elegant blink-blink...but must come only from your wrist (please!). The same rule as for the clothes: do not let that watch wear you; should be the opposite.
