PROENZA SCHOULER F/W 2016/2017 AD CAMPAIGN

Not a big fan of this Proenza´s winter ad campaign, shot by lately very famous and desired Zoe Ghertner, styled by Marie Chaix and featuring Julia Bergshoeff and Selena Forrest. Probably because of the models same expression throughout the whole campaign or the same colours, except the lime and red or is the reason in the ladder. The thing I appreciated the most is the way how they showed pieces, especially bags, which are normally the most profitable thing in most of brands, if not in every one.

CÉLINE FALL 2016 AD CAMPAIGN

The latest ad campaign of the French lux house under the helm of Phoebe Philo, was once again photographed by Zoe Ghertner and features models Fredrikke Sofi Falbe Hansen and Ally Ertel., The whole concept of this campaign is almost like a safari-like setting, minimal make-up and with the main focus on the clothes and bags from the pre-fall 2016 collection.

There´s something missing? Different? Maybe and totally are the answers on these questions. There´s no more (my beloved) Daria and neither long-time brand´s photographer, Juergen Teller. Is it only my opinion or Céline is really outing its, not so long ago, nearly-shyly hidden lux? Is still very clean, modern and has still some arty touch; but this campaign I feel it colder, a bit empty and without those distinct eclecticism and "nonchalance" that Céline by Philo is (was) famous. Too polished. Changes are good, but on this I have a big BUT.
