80´S LOVE

J.W. Anderson brought his well-known beloved eighties exuberance from his namesake label to Loewe.  At the UNESCO headquarters we saw soft buffalo bomber jackets, patent a-shape lab coats, swing-glam lame plisse pleating on shirtdresses and below-the knee skirts and pattern-pieces, that beside the red and green-blue pop of colours, made the collection more vibrant. There was a pleasant comeback, or to say more exact, a redone of those famous and well sellable leather wide-legged pants from the S/S 2015 collection, now recut in herringbone with cargo pockets. It´s impressive how J.W. in only two seasons turned the sleepy brand into the most talk able and admirable one. After many years, thankfully to him, the brand got their new IT-bad, “Trapeze”.
