Yes, that 70´s trend can’t really get away, didn´t it? Well, we don´t mind, especially when it comes to brands like Paul Smith, where the 70´s are a big part of their design-influence and/or since everything (literally) started from as it was in Smith´s case. One of the things I really like about this label is that has a recognizable trademark-style, without being stucked on the same thing, nor being repetitive. After all he is known for his abilities of reinventing the classic, constantly, season by season. There are some 70´s revival-elements present in this collection, like slim and sharp tailored suits in muted plaids, the jeans and whole pattern on pattern thing, but done in a modern, joyful, fresh and youthful way, as it comes with the 60´s elements, like Crombie coats, paisley embroideries and drainpipe trousers or elements from the 80´s, like Vans-style shoes and zippered track tops.
