With his second womenswear collection for Gucci, Alessandro Michele continues what he started with the F/W 2015/2016 collection; a nostalgic and at the same time romantic revisitation of the 60´s and the 70´s, with some eccentric and quirky elements. Michele´s geek-chic world consist of pom-pom hats, ruffled and embroidered glorious gowns, bow collars, corduroy jean pieces, bold colours and patterns,nerd glasses, fur, brocade and lace. Even the gold Hollywood era didn´t saw so much galore at the same time. At the end pops-up the question; what is next? What will happened or what we will see, when the “granny trunk” will be closed?
