LOOSE FIT DREAM

Bassike was established in 2006 by a creative duo of friends with a very impressive history in Australian fashion. Deborah Sams and Mary-Lou Ryan´s vision with the brand was to create very versatile and covetable everyday timeless pieces in premium quality and sustainable fabrics, that you can wear in more structured-lux way or just with pair of sneakers or flip-flops. Their aesthetic could be described as a contrast of loose Australian Beach life and the simplicity of Japanese design.

For their Resort 2015 collection they went a bit more on a sporty side, accentuated on skateboarding with a skate park on the backdrop; loose and elongated silhouettes with a lot of layereing in crisp white, navy blue and grey. Everything is still very tasteful and chic. There are wide-leg culottes, hammer pants, t-dresses, cropped tops, soft and fluid duster-coats and semi-sheer white utility jacket. Easy, but effective.
