interiorem aurum

Music, that most alchemical of arts, occasionally reveals its deeper purpose, not as soundtrack to our small dramas but as cartographer of territories we forgot we possessed. interiorem aurum begins where Yasmine Hamdan's voice dissolves borders between Damascus and digital futures, where ancient modes flirt with frequencies yet unnamed.
What follows unfolds like memory itself: FKA twigs ascending through electronic prayers while Nicolas Jaar broadcasts from radio stations that exist only in dream logic. Here, Madonna's forgotten heaven nestles between William Basinski's beautiful decay and Lucrecia Dalt's crystalline meditations. Context becomes curator; proximity, revelation.

In which colour should I dream about love, in which language should I dream about peace? The playlist whispers such questions through frequencies that transcend borders, each track transforming its neighbours through some mysterious osmosis of attention.

WE ARE FLYING

It begins, as most good flights do, not with thunder, but with lift.A chord, a beat, a breath, and suddenly, you're airborne.

We Are Flying is not a playlist for running errands or impressing strangers. It is for something subtler: drifting inward, up and away. These are songs that know how to rise, not with drama, but with a kind of elegant ease. Music for when your thoughts don’t quite touch the ground, and you’d rather not explain why.

CHERRY COLOURED FUNK

A Playlist, a Feeling, a Slow Unravelling of Time

Some playlists exist like seasons. They don't ask for attention, they simply arrive when you're ready to notice. Cherry-Coloured Funk is one of those: ambient yet emotional, stylish without noise, equal parts late-night diary and early-morning fog. A drifting mood board of voice, rhythm, and texture.

It begins in a hush. Lorde's "What Was That" opens like a thought you're not sure you had. Then The Marías take over with "Heavy", lush, almost narcotic, like the perfume of someone just left. From there, the current deepens. Saya Gray, Magdalena Bay, and Σtella fold together dream pop, R&B, and ghostly synths until everything feels slowed down, submerged, a little distorted (in a good way).

I ALWAYS KNEW I WANTED TO FLY

Commonly, I would end a year with a playlist, precisely the 12th one, as my sound diary goes monthly. This year is different, unintentionally, due to lack of time. Finishing a year with playlist number 09 (the three left will be published in short). Interestingly enough, or it may be a coincidence, this playlist rounds up perfectly, not just in the ninth month but the whole year. How to describe it? Maybe as a game of opposites. It may appear unlogical in certain moments of listening, but deeply inside, it has a sense. It´s rough and also soft, serene and vivid, sincere with some moments of naivety. In short, this playlist is not a typical dance one for ending the year (you can find one here or the one from 2022 here), but rather a way to not only review some past moments and experiences but also to connect some points with what is (possibly) coming in the future. To fly high. Enjoy!

HOME

As much as I never put anyone in a box, including myself, this situation is different. It's not just any ordinary box; it's my soundbox! My sanctuary where a symphony of sounds wraps around me, lyrics dance like gentle whispers, and the very spirit of music holds me close and safe, a vibrant space defined by the passions that ignite my soul, a place shaped by my musical identity. Even though impossible to sum it up in only thirty tracks, I will share a slice of that place. A place I call home. My home.

TIED

When you are mesmerized, blind-sighted, or cannot (momentarily) escape, infatuated with someone or something, a prisoner of your own heart, Tied. This cyclic evolution transition turned into a playlist of 43 tracks.

Tearing, fulfilling, instinctive or intuitive, a strong feeling, unpredictable, sometimes unlogical, passionate, miserable, joyful and endlessly more, that only emotions are, translated into a thirty-three track playlist.

QUATRE MOON

Quatre Moon is another dimension, a place that exists only in you, only for you. A safe place, a place where you reconnect with yourself. The reached balance. Sometimes even a re-think of what happened, a reset. Enjoy.
