SCHIAPARELLI´S "DEBUT"

Christian Lacroix is the first designer that was invited to design a new Schiaparelli era. Della Valle group will invite every season a an artist to interpret and pay homage to Elsa Schiaparelli and her known sense of style.
It started with Lacroix´s homage to her with 18 pieces: embroidery, silhouette, iconic colors, processing of other times, artisan craftsmanship from Haute Couture, Monsieur Lacroix began a process that materializes, at least for this first step, as the modern reinterpretation of Elsa´s creative vocabulary.
The famous lobster becomes hat, hot pink can be seen acting within bustier bows adorn the back of the ball gowns, hoods over their pockets and zip close suits in wool crepe.
