There was a lot of 90´s in the Ryan Roche f/w 2016/2017 collection; from her mood-board that involved loads of Peter Lindbergh and Arthur Elgort famous fashion photos that featured supermodels like Stephanie Seymour, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington, to the colour-palette made from different hues of blush, white, ivory to merlot-red and black. The silhouettes could be easily “stigmatized” as minimalistic, very nineties, but those almost purist, A-line shapes, would be better to name it poetic, where layers of great knitwear are sometimes paired with crochet or even suede and fur.
