This is Denmark´s first time-exhibition of one of world´s most influential photographers, Mario Testino. This even opened also this year´s fashion and art season in Copenhagen. In total 55 selected art-pieces from his rich work-spectrum have a temporarily "home" in GL Strand´s middle 18th century building, originally designed by Dutch-Danish master Philip de Lange. The title of this exhibition reveals the core aspect of Mr. Testino as a versatile artist, who´s work range that constantly opposes the existing limitations of a particular genre and its fixed conventions.  Famous for working towards that special moment that transcends the person portrayed, his portraits prevail a certain ease and comfort that is visible for everybody. And the result is an image that is seductive, welcoming, and sensual at the same time, though not afraid to suggest a more provocative and confrontational look at other times. Each context has its own possibilities, and Mario Testino is known for pushing the limits bringing forth energy, sex and optimism.

The display is organized over three floors, with the first one containing his powerful and hugely influential output of fashion photography, the second one with his intimate royal portraits, while on third floor his sober nudes.

If you are in Copenhagen, close to it or have plan to visit it, you have a chance to visit this unique exhibition until 18 September.
