Mrs Prada S/S 2016 acts on fluidity, layering, boxy-volume and color-graphic. The looseness of bermudas transformed into shorts, dust coats and slim-fit trousers featuring contrast topstitching, playful knits with space rockets, stripes or bunnies, half-unbuttoned shirts revealing striped, zipped tops and impossible to forget those cropped leather jackets or zipped bombers. The final touch on the whole collection? Shoes of course. There were complete sole-less slip-on booties and holey lace-ups. Did Mrs Prada got any reference while doing it? A lot and none, as for Prada is typical; making its own trend(s) is the luxury fashion house dna, rather than rule. After all, she is the one who said: "When you’re a luxury brand, you can’t show a T-shirt."
