NOWADAYS 70´S

Anderson at his second Loewe´s menswear collections continues, in a magnificent and magical way, to combine his androgynous (to be specific, gender-free) elements and the well-known leather heritage of the Spanish fashion house. Anderson´s teasing-provocative part was especially accentuated in pieces, like the suit made of multi-colored pixelated patterns, second-skin knitwear, palazzo trousers, a poncho, oversize-shawls and big rounded-feminine sunglasses. On the another were timeless pieces, like buttery-soft aviator jackets with shearling collars, motorcycle jackets from kangaroo leather, a nubuck navy trench, Japanese-denim pea-coats and prolonged tweed coat. There was a strong 70´s scent present in this collection, without a déjà-vu, but more with a “I will do” thing. A good-to-see how the past can appear really fresh. And it is.
