It´s the LVMH investment in J.W. Anderson turning a bit a brand into something more wearable? By what the brand presented for S/S 2015 women`s-wear we can only confirm that; the collection was sophisticated and chic compared to all previous ones from the brand. Flair dresses in pale linen, tailored jackets, silk shirt-dresses and sailor-like pants. Yes, the vibe was very nautical and he pointed that with his typical, nearly-exaggerated, but very fresh and modern touches; like amplified sleeves or the lapels on the trench, the asymmetric collar on a loose blouse or the floppy leather fisherman hats that added drama to the collection. It will be interesting to see how the brand will evolve in the future taking in account a crucial factor: being sellable without losing the brand´s creative soul.
