ON A FEMININE SIDE

Jonathan Anderson played with the clichés of resort for the actual resort 2015 womenswear collection; he imagined how a girl would wear her mother´s bourgeois clothes. He went quite far from his (till now) known androgynous sans-sex aesthetic, by making this collection as much feminine as he can; from soft wool gabardine trenches with unfinished-look seams, cotton bustiers with delicate sleeves, and knotted blouses with cape-like sleeves to add more drama. For three dins tic pieces, a skirt resembling sarong and the two draped-tribal like pieces, he collaborated with a recent graduate of Saint Martin textile designer Jessica Mort. Lovely were also the accessories, especially the twisted-leather loafers and ceramic cuffs, commissioned from an Irish artist.
