Kendrick Lamar, the American hip hop
recording artist from Compton (California), enlisted rising White Cube artist
Eddie Peake and director Darren Romanelli to bring the exquisite twelve minute downbeat
epic “Sing about me, Dying of thirst” from good kid, m.A.A.d City to life
across two videos. The first, “Sing
about me” part transposes scenes of Lamar in Compton with Eddie Peake working
on a graffiti mural.
The part two, “Dying thirst” is scheduled
to be released this month.
