I reached a moment this month where I spent my lunch money on Italian Vogue. Maybe I need to reassess my priorities but it was the Black Barbie Issue- and especially the Barbie supplement- that swayed me to part with money, rather that hang around Borders getting my fix. Personally I’m always tempted to frame Italian Vogue, as it has the best art direction.
I wish British Vogue could be as innovative as Italian Vogue, if it only meant that I wouldn’t have to pay out for the import. With Barbie’s recent re-invention I have rediscovered my love for my childhood friend, I’m loving retro pin-up girl Barbie…and I’m currently waiting for the newly designed So-in-Style black Barbie later in the year.
