Manish Arora S/S 2010 / PFW / Day two

The venue may have been Paris’ mythical Crazy Horse (home to sparsely dressed, high-kicking ladies), but Manish Arora was more in the mood for dressing up. The designer focused on bold-shouldered party frocks doused in glitter, chains, neon embroidery and optical tricks galore, which — despite the dizzy visual impact — somehow managed to conjure a little less magic than usual.
