DOVER STREET MARKET PARIS

Dover Street Market Paris opens (finally!) tomorrow May 24 in the Marais district as the seventh (eighth if we count the perfume store) iteration of multi-brand retailer Dover Street Market, co-founded by Adrian Joffe and Rei Kawakubo in 2004 in London.

The store is housed in the 17th-century Hôtel de Coulanges, once resided in by French writer Madame de Sevigné, expands in a total of 1,100 sq m, centring around a courtyard set back from the road and occupies the ground and first floors of the building, as well as one of three basements. In contrast, the other two are planned for art and community events.

DSM Paris will be a space where shoppers can immerse themselves in the curving, labyrinthine displays, a place of exploration, experimentation and discovery among the selection of various brands, like their Comme des Garçons, Rick Owens, Prada, J.W.Anderson, Wales Bonner, and Willy Chavarria, just to name a few.
