If you do not know this designer and his eponymous brand, which I hard to believe, you need to mark down immediately, especially if you are fond into a timeless menswear wardrobe, crafted from beautiful materials and voluminous shapes, where the past seasons match perfectly with current ones. Actually by this Belgian designer the concept of season has a totally different meaning. Jan-Jan launches his Annual Collection (yes, you read it right, once per year) every spring and they are about a comprehensive wardrobe of layers, while his “Project” collections that are also released once per year, normally every fall, are inspired by particular techniques. His aesthetic can be “framed”, even we don´t like doing that, as a mutual interaction of ethic and western traditions in fashion.
