THE FALL OF THE CORSET

This short film directed by Rei Nadal is a part of SHOWstudio's Fashion & Freedom exhibition at Manchester Art Gallery and explores the way that the first world war affected on the popularity of this garment, led to a decline in the garment´s use. Featured on model Guinevere Van Seenus, the bespoke corset was made by designer Phoebe English.
