PRIME

Vibe Johansson´s S/S 2016 embraces the synthesis of organic foundations, from materials to construction and the silhouette returns back to nature, prime-place.  Essentially transparent and non-conformist, the collection is crafted as an array of minimalist urban garments, rich in architectonic elements. Striped linear structures are featured alongside textured surfaces, with graphic raw edges. Elongated shirts are matched by fitted shorts, languid tunics billow freely underneath soft merino jumpers and technical neoprene double as sporty vests. For the lighter season, raw silk, cool wool and organic cotton are maintained in deep blacks and off-whites, redirecting all focus towards detailing, finishes and form. Each crafty detail works with movable and agile wearers, as part of their technical inception. Layered tailoring is facilitated by the garments interchangeable character and lightweight construction.
