There are really rare examples of emerging designers with the ability to make beautiful and luxurious clothes, without losing a succinct vision. One of those is Grace Wales Bonner. She made a name for herself in the industry straight after graduating from Central Saint Martins winning L`Oréal Professional award for design. Her S/S 2016 collection, the second shown at Fashion East, is inspired by the story of Malik Ambar* and the cross-cultural elements between West India and Africa.
