German design studio aust & amelung made this super-clever piece of furniture and named “a bench”. The main construction is really minimalistic, elegant. With adding the modular system of cushions, makes everything modern, fresh and with an ease of the past. The cushions come in different range of size, shape and colours, allowing you to make changes in the colour scheme and form, creating the new look for the bench. The backrest and the seat are grooved, so that the cushions can be plugged into the construction with the help of a steel pin that is connected to the cushion.
Having a forward design, but still being easy and playful, with the respect for the form and the function, can this piece without any doubt enters into the category of timeless objects.
