FOCUS ON CLASSIC

Christophe, with his partner “in crime” Sarah-Linh Tran, offered to us in last month numerous novelties. After the designer left Hermés, he really put all his time, energy and effort in his, actually his and Sarah´s brand. Let´s refresh them all; first was the name, making officially Sarah-Linh as an equal partner and designer in the brand, than the “opening” of an online shop (that all Lemaire lovers and admirers just super applaud) and finally comes the first in-between collection, that you already got an idea by this preview a month ago. Their first ever pre-fall collection will represent something like 60 percent of their overall F/W collection, mostly composed of his big, always present pieces, making them in this way available longer in stores, while specific, or so called “season-pieces” will be presented during fashion week in Paris in March and available in stores from middle Autumn on. Strategic and intelligent.
Enough of brand´s novelties and lets spend few words about this gorgeous collection. The duo continues the poetry of an ideal elegance, composed by simple and comfortable volumes, made of natural and precious materials. There are many, actually to be honest, there are all pieces  that are elegantly tempting us to make them a part of our wardrobe; from wool-crepe pantsuit, second-skin cashmere knits, yak wool tunic and cape to cotton or wool-denim high-waist pants, boxy pea coat, a wool wrap skirt, cotton trench coat  and waxed cotton raincoat. Can you resist? There´s more. The” wood-belt” that is embracing the herringbone wool coat, was made in collaboration with a woodworker Collin Garrity (they already collaborate with belts from this collection) and there are also new square leather bags, manufactured from traditional French artisans.
