PUBLIC SCHOOL wins the inaugural men´s intl. woolmark award

The Public School duo Maxwell Osborne and
Dao-Yi Choe, after winning last year´s CFDA award for best menswear designer in
America, won also the inaugural International Woolmark Prize for menswear, among
four other labels, each representing a different continent and judged by Nick
Wooster, Dylan Jones, Paul Smith and Tim Blanks. For this competition Chow and
Osborne created a six piece collection made from 80% of merino wool. The part
of the winning sum (100,000 Australian dollars), will they receive as a
substantial funding and the opportunity to have their next collection stocked
at Harvey Nichols London and online at MatchesFashion.com.
