WHITE VALENTINO IN NEW YORK

This was not the Valentino Spring 2015 couture collection, which will be (as usual) officially presented in Paris in January.  This couture collection was a special one, to celebrate the maison´s (and former designer) early 60´s-era collections, that used to happened at the Sfilata Bianca in Rome and at the Sala Bianca in Florence. The use of the white, a non-color, throughout the whole collection, made of airy dresses in organza, chiffon and lace, was a perfect homage of it. The only color (beside the cream-white) present, with the purpose to elevate, even more, the whole regal-rich vibe, was gold, seen in details, like pouch bags or shoe heels.
