Palms-like plants against fiberglass walls almost screamed the theme of Barbara Casasola S/S 2015 collection that we later saw on runway; a clean-chic, minimal yet sensual collection that easily evoked designer´s native country Brazil. There were light, floaty materials such as silk chiffon seen in transparent plissé maxi skirts, paired with tailored blazers and simple or draped tops; simple dresses with side cut-outs. Barbara also played a lot with transparency and metallic-like fabric seen in runway´s finale outfits, composed by singlet-tops and matching long plissé skirts. The colour palette composed of ruby red, pale orange to olive and brown metallic shades only elevate the whole feeling of summer…and at least for the moment we forgot about the bad, cold weather.
