The Belgian designer with the S/S 2015 collection
marked his tenth year of his eponymous brand and the twentieth collection. And
it was not the time for a retrospective. Re-doing yourself? No, no needs. It was
actually a new boundary that Kris Van Assche wanted to achieve. Youthfully and
relaxed shapes, with a big accent on denim and its colours. Sartorially-like
made knee “holes” on pants and Bermuda shorts, aviator bomber jackets,
light-technical car coats, crispy-shirts, light knits, relaxed suits and all accessorised
with backpacks, from elegant shoes to flip-flops, beaded surfing-like necklaces
and bracelets, reminding a man who likes his job, but who knows also to enjoy
his life; relaxed and free. That´s why the title is more than excusable.
