I guess Stella is a big party-lover, due
that all of her pre-collections are presented with a party. This time at New
York's Harold Pratt House. The McCartney´s woman for the next fall is inspired
by Stella’s older sister, who was during young years influenced by punk, edgy
street scene, but all relocated to an organic farm in the middle of the countryside.
Literal examples of punk were actually missing in the collection; the only vibe
of that we could get from embroidered jackets with graphic drawings by the artist
friend Gary Hume. Beside that we saw oversize blanket coats with fringed details,
sleeveless dress with big polka dots, evening dresses adorned with fringes,
dress, coat and bag in star-check pattern.
Very Stella (mixing masculine and feminine; brand´s regular feature),
very sellable.
