Stella McCartney characterized her S/S 2014
collection as an “understated seduction”, or how is still important to be
or/and to have a desire to be seductive. We got that cover/uncover feeling
throughout the whole show; outfits made from matte but still sheer fabrics from
the start that unveiled whole body proportions, to continuing with satin and cotton
sartorial dresses, croc-patterned silk dresses and an outfit made by trousers
and short sleeved shirt, to continuing till the end with a lot of lace, mostly
combined with silk in lingerie dresses.
Quite bared was also the accessories part; beside flat (quite “house
woman” looking) sandals and two to three bags (barely seen due the same fabric
of the outfit), there were only a stand out made with sunglasses.
