F/W 2012/2013 // VERONIQUE LEROY
For autumn 2012, Véronique Leroy plays with knitting knobby heads serving of hybrids between bombers and cardigans and sheath skirts members. Large, wrap-around, embellished, in some cases, from the leather and fur jackets and coats are balanced by mini-skirts that vary in length from knee to upper thigh. Bright colors such as pale pink, sherbet and cream are mixed with a darker palette of deep black, aubergine and navy blue. Although the collection is decidedly feminine, Leroy introduces some element in the form of menswear-inspired blazer converted to coquettish dresses with ruffled hems. Among the key pieces are collarless coats of wool with leather trim, a gray wool shift dress with zip front dress, slightly open at the bottom so as to glimpse the legs. 7-
