MaxAzria RTW Fall 2010 / NYCFW Day-07

Max and Lubov Azria took their muse on a minimalist journey with architectural shapes, clean lines and at times tricky flaps and folds. The lineup had a futuristic tone, seen in knit tops with leather inserts, felt jackets with sloping hems and dresses with extended panels or origami folds. The Azrias created texture and depth by manipulating and piecing together fabrics, as in the bevy of silk crepe and mesh dresses. But the few bondagelike dresses at the end seemed out of place.
