In a Milan season short on suits, John Varvatos put tailoring front and center with a refined and approachable urban wardrobe.
Not that the collection - which included washed leather blousons, which peeked out from under checked sports jackets, and outerwear that riffed on a military theme - abandoned the designer’s rock-n-roll inclinations.
Styling the looks with rugged wingtip boots, vintage-like belts with studded details and zippers on jacket lapels, Varvatos proved suits don't have to be stiff.
