Costume National Homme Men's Fall RTW 2010 / Mfw - Day01

Wovens and knitwear bonded at Costume National, but not as your traditional jacket-over-sweater combos. Rather, designer Ennio Capasa added texture to many pieces by weaving knitted inserts into sports jackets and coats.

Alternating his hallmark skinny silhouette with slouchier moments, Capasa fashioned a variety of jackets and swooping coats with beefy knitted shawl collars or sleeves. Flannel drawstring pants were the bottoms of choice, accessorized with scuffed leather army boots. For Capasa’s rocker clients, there were motorcycle-inspired trousers and sequined bomber jackets.
