Francesco Scognamiglio S/S 2010 / MFW / Day three

Francesco Scognamiglio, who has been touted as a rising star on the Milan scene, found inspiration in some other stellar talent. “The mood is the stars of music, art and film,” he said before the show. And, indeed, there was plenty of twinkle. Crystal studding glittered on sexy satin micro minis, chiffon jumpsuits and blousons, while metallic gold stars decorated the peaked shoulders of tailored jackets. The festivities continued with colorful confetti-printed silk tunics cinched at the waist and silk blouses with ruffles galore. Meanwhile, floor-length jersey evening gowns with sky-high slits were red-carpet ready.
