Got a stress period, week or a day? Cannot sleep properly and consequently the mornings are even harder than usual, not to mention energy-less days. When it starts this cycle tends to repeat, day by day by day...Let´s try with tea, this herb-mix poured with warm water, made to calm the nerves and relax us. From what we´ve tried so far, we especially love Pukka´s mix of oak flower, lavender and limeflower, Clipper´s infusion of Cinnamon, Chamomile (25%), Honeybush, Lemon Balm (5%) and Valerian Root or Love Tea´s one made of Valerian root, liquorice root, spearmint, chamomile, passion flower and lavender. 

If you have a “holy grail” place where you can find good organic ingredients, then you can make a good sleep tea by your own, like following this recipe:

2 teaspoons dried peppermint
tablespoon dried lemon balm
2 slices dried licorice root
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1 teaspoon dried lavender flowers
1 teaspoon dried rose petals
honey, (as needed)
milk, (as needed)

Combine all herbs and spices into a mortar and crush them with a pestle. Transfer the blend to a teapot, pour boiling water over the herbs and leave for three to five minutes. You can strain and serve with honey and/ or milk, as you like it. Sleep well.
