REEK

REEK is a new feminist perfume brand, founded to memorialise heroic, unapologetic women through scent, made in collaboration with award-winning perfumer, Sarah McCartney. Theirs first scent, "Damn Rebel Bitches", is hand-mixed from hints of blood orange, hazelnut, pink peppercorn, clary sage and malt, making it fresh and exciting. It was named after 18th century Jacobite women, as badass political activists and dissidents. The Duke of Cumberland called them Damn Rebel Bitches because they wouldn’t give up on their cause. They were fearless. Jacobean Lady Nithsdale broke her husband out of the Tower of London in 1716 by dressing him in drag. Good start with a great smell.
