Louise Trotter offered us another beautiful, versatile collection with foundation on androgynous aesthetic and her well-known faux-tailoring. For the pre-fall 2016 collection her inspiration went on Perry Ogden´s "Pony Kids", where Trotter reinterpreted a traditional menswear into something feminine and luxe-elevated. We can also see it as a sort of an aristocratic-heritage, not just because of garments like silk blouses with bows or details like frill collars, but predominantly because of a good mix of rich, typical upper-class materials, like Shetland wool, cashmere, tweeds, corduroy traditional flannels and felts. Trotter continues her goal to pursuit for everyday classics, modernised by the search for individuality and personality.
Perfection!
