Located at the edge of Arau, the capital of Aargau canton (exactly at the foot of Jura Mountains), this house, designed by Gautschi Lenzin Schenker Architekten with an elegant “detail” made from monolithic block clad in rough Red Cedar planks, in a really harmonious way, merges with the surrounding nature. The main concept of this Swiss beauty was designed as a family house, but with a really flexible option, a client can make two separate apartments, anytime. There are four levels; from the ground floor with a garage, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, passing to the first floor with a spacious living room, master bedroom, a bathroom, a conservatory, games room and two offices, while the basement level features service areas and a cellar.
