Lemaire is lately all about changes, like the last news about the upcoming collaboration with Uniqlo, but the base of the brand - the aesthetic, design - remains the same. To be precise, is upgrading, evolving and this time more daring. The Parisian chic, a synonym of the brand and made of clean and sharp lines, precious fabrics and minimal silhouettes, is this time spiced-up with soft-erotic details, like more bare shoulders or new “ass and boobs” leathers bags; but the brand´s foundation remains the same, offering us essential, season-less pieces, like coats with (at least a little bit) soft-dropped shoulders, trenchcoats, workwear-inspired jackets, stoles, knitwear and high waisted skirts and pants. Still no ruffles, still noglitters and not a trace of excesses. Thanks god. The true elegance don´t need the “to be noticed” effect, or as Coco Chanel once said “Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance.”
