Few days ago we posted on our FB page the news that Alexander Wang is launching his denim line (Denim x Alexander Wang), including the first two images from the ad campaign. Days later came another surprise; ok, it is his pre-fall 2015 collection, but this collection includes also something new for the brand – evening gowns. Yes, in total of 23 looks, four are linear gowns. To be more accurate, the brand did evening gowns already before, custom made pieces, but they never included them in any official collection. The second interesting fact of his pre-fall 2015 is also, that every single piece (evening gowns apart) can be literally worn and mix-match with anything; a sort of do it on your own thing, to get it more personal, more individual, having elements like men´s tailoring or multi-texture knits to choose from. So the coolness of the brand remains, but he upgraded it with a new level of sophistication and polish. A great step forward.
