We cannot really talk about leftovers when
is about the couture collection, but at Maison Martin Margiela I guess used few
remaining vintage fabrics from the S/S2014 (Artisanal) haute couture collection to
incorporate them in the last one, the F/W 2014/2015 one. My favourite pieces? A
bustier top with an embroidered lobster slung over the shoulder (a true homage
to one and only Elsa Schiaparelli), Japanese-embroidered silk bomber jackets
and the sleeveless dress sewn together with Iris-like embroideries, reminding
us a famous Vincent van Gogh´s painting.
