Lightweight and airy in mostly white, black
and rust colour palette, with some light pink, yellow, petrol green and prints
inspired by a French artist and photographer Raymond Hains, is the Jil Sander
resort 2015 collection. Japanese cotton and few technical fabrics, like nylon
and metal, were “melted” into clever-airy shapes; coats and dresses (or could
say coat-dress) with knotting system to create the volume in the back, shirts
sculpted on shoulders, transform the, into jackets with the similar trick. This
is the last collection made only by the creative team and they did pretty
amazing job; the Jil Sander spirtit (and design) was all there.
