VICTORIA BECKHAM F/W 2014/2015

If someone complained about her S/S 2014 collection to be too boyish, became pleased after seeing the F/W 2014/2015 one. Not that Victoria Beckham left the menswear inspired shapes, but she add to them, or preferably to say make them more feminine, by elongating the silhouette and adding some femme touches. Like the chain detail for example, that take the role of the button closure on fabulous winter coats or as ornaments on dresses neck and waist line. Or pleated silk back of coats, intarsia on sweaters, fur detail on the white dress hem, swirly motif on a pleated black skirt. Major part of the collection was in a basic, clean color non-color - black or white with some pops of a vivid red. Was there any unexpected piece in the collection? Yes. The sixties inspired red and black tweed coat with big lapels and collar. An unusual piece that ended as a really pleasant surprise.
