Marni, a synonym for originality, couture-ish
cuts, artisanship and odd-sportswear, yesterday presented their F/W 2014/2015
collection, including all listed elements. The show started with heavy wool and
neoprene layered coats*,
zipped neoprene with an athletic-oversize shape sweaters and bombers, big multicolored
fur** coat, voluminous boiled wool tunics in matching trousers, above the knee
skirts in curly-cream sheepskin on more tailored with flood of feathers and embellishment
held together by a line of a jeweled waistband. An overall “exaggeration” of
peplum, layering, textures, ruffles and bustle were calmed down with a
lady-like bags and menswear flats. My favorite Marni collection so far.
