Mixing some “old” Doma elements with a
current minimalism is what we saw at Damir Doma´s F/W 2014/2015 fashion show;
the Damir Doma I really like. He took some grungy references -like an oversize
keyhole knit-sweater or an oversize bomber sweater or all checked pieces with
sheering-cut off details – combined with a classic tailoring to achieve a super
chic and polished collection. He played also a lot with different fabrics, to
achieve interesting soft-hard contrasts. Double-breasted oversize coat in a
fuzzy brown ombré alpaca; burgundy and indigo-blue jacquard used for the coat –
the opening piece -, loose-fitting dress, skirt and tailored jacket; the silk
crepe de chine checked dress and blouse paired with a blue alpaca jacket and
plaid skirt; to end the sophisticated story with series of evening wear in
burnout black velvet.

Not bad but not too “special”.
